Hey y’all! For my last post, I’m going to talk about my experience while making my blog. One thing I would improve, is for me to go more in depth when talking about videos to make. I have so many ideas, but I didn’t write too much about them. When promoting my content, I’m not very good at coming up with witty tweets, so I definitely need more practice using twitter.
My best experience while making the blog was discovering new music. I’m always listening to music, but it’s usually the same group of songs that I’ve always loved, so being able to get out of my comfort zone was really cool! Making this blog showed me how much time it takes into creating content that you love and how accomplished you feel when you hit that publish button after perfecting your post. I’ll use the skills I learned in the future when I start working on films for promotions.
My most popular week was my first week. My home page and about page has the most views and my most popular post that I made was my “We’re Growing Up” post. I believe this was because my friend Hannah made a review post on it, so it got some extra promos, this surprised me the most because I expected my “Country” post to have more views since it was my longest playlist.
The photo above is of my sister in the middle and my two cousins. I chose this photo as my way of saying goodbye! I can’t wait to use the skills I learned at Texas State in my future.
