Hello everyone! As y’all have probably already heard, (and if you haven’t please get any form of social media) we are currently quarantined. We have also had an extra week of spring break, meaning most of us haven’t left our bed for two weeks and that is okay!
If Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+ has become your best friend in these times then we have something in common, but sometimes it gets difficult finding what to watch and every movie just seems so boring. If you agree then my friend Hannah Diaz has the perfect blog to read, called Music To My Movies.
I’m also including this super throwback picture of us from almost four years ago in high school. Sorry Hannah!
Hannah makes soundtracks to movies and chooses songs to listen to during a certain scene. My personal favorite of hers is the soundtrack to The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I love all of the songs she chose, but I do love that she put Fine Line by Harry Styles with the tunnel scene. She explains, “For the famous ‘tunnel scene’ in this movie I chose “Fine Line” by Harry Styles. In the ‘tunnel scene’ Sam hears a song on the radio that she says is perfect for driving through the tunnel. This is where Sam liked to stand in the back of Patrick’s truck and spread her arms, making her feel infinite. “Fine Line” by Harry Styles is perfect for this scene because of the beautiful ballad that is it; full of drums, piano, guitar, and beautiful vocals. Not to mention its breathtaking peak towards the end of the song. A perfect compliment to feeling infinite.” I couldn’t agree with her more. She definitely has talent for capturing the true feeling through the music and will be very successful!
For this review, Hannah and I wanted to make a super playlist of each of our current top ten songs. Numbers 1-10 are my top 10 and numbers 11-20 will be Hannah’s. We hope you like it!
