Acoustic Paradise

If you’re anything like me, then you absolutely love acoustic, chill and relaxing songs. But, if you’re exactly like me, then the only thing you love more than acoustic songs, are acoustic covers of songs. They add a new meaning to as song you thought you understood. By slowing down the music, you’re able to really listen and absorb the lyrics and this can change the song all together. It could even make you like a song you hated before.

I chose this picture as the cover because I’ve always loved the guitar and this was my first one I got on Christmas in 2006 at six years old. I later got another acoustic guitar that matched my dad’s electric.

These songs are perfect for any mood. If the video you’re making is slow, fast, happy, or sad, you can use any of the songs in this playlist. Slow motion shots would add a great cinematic feel to any video.

My personal favorite is “Chasing Cars” covered by The Wind and The Wave. Now, don’t get me wrong, the original by Snow Patrol is an amazing and heart breaking song, but the way The Wind and The Wave put their whole heart and soul in the song, really captures the true meaning and message that Snow Patrol couldn’t convey.

The track list for my acoustic playlist will be listed below.
